After being pressed on sources, however, POTUS and media reps of the White House walked back on the claims, leaving them completely unsubstantiated. The lack of verification for the reports of babies being beheaded brings into question the motives behind publishing unverified and highly emotive stories, particularly in the context of a nuclear power potentially committing acts similar to genocide.
